Congratulations Bill,
It was Spring in Michigan 1974~6 that you visited in Pontiac. I recall your display of a very large Japanese maple at the hotel off Telegraph road. I was only a few years into the Four Seasons Bonsai Club of Pontiac and one of the main stays, Ray Boardman (BCI president) had all of the club gather there to hear and see your work.
From there it was Midwest (Chicago) show just about every year. I was thrilled when my EWP was accepted to the National Show last year but I was unable to get ‘her’ there…..
and now back to California
